Vancouver Climate Emergency Action Plan

As one of the most proactive cities in Canada, Vancouver has passed its climate emergency motion along with the publication of its Climate Emergency Action Plan (CEAP). The CEAP outlines solid steps to curb emission and improve building stock resilience. In particular, embodied carbon and seismic resiliency retrofits, which are unique challenges in Vancouver, are focal points of many of the planned actions. Kinetica Risk has been working with the City of Vancouver to develop policy support analytics on seismic resilience. We are pleased to see the progress the city has made!
